Patient Demographic: Men and Women over the age of 18 (skewing to 55+ year old adults) who had shingles that has healed but is still causing pain.

Study Specifics: After the Sponsor's $228,962 initial print and radio campaign yielded only 207 patients in 50 U.S. markets over a 16-week period, TPRA's rescue services were enlisted to help recruit an additional 163 patients for enrollment completion. With only seven weeks left in the enrollment deadline, TPRA enlisted 185 patients.

Recruiting Plan: In just two weeks, TPRA produced and placed local daytime network television advertising in 25 U.S. markets with 20 markets airing the commercial for two weeks and five markets airing the commercial for one week.

Statistics: Sites placed print and radio advertising in over 50 U.S. markets over a 16- week period enrolling 207 patients. TPRA placed television advertising in 25 U.S. markets over a 3-week period enrolling 185 patients and completing enrollment on time.
